BRIAN KAVANAGH has admitted that Kilmacud Crokes may benefit most from the Leinster Council’s decision to push back Sunday’s provincial club finals to January.

Leinster officials met for several hours yesterday afternoon before eventually confirming that their senior football and hurling club finals won’t take place this weekend due to the continued cold snap.

Instead, the football clash of Crokes and Rhode, as well as the hurling decider between Oulart the Ballagh and O’Loughlin Gaels, will go ahead at a date in January yet to be confirmed.
