GAA consider ticket price cut

AS has become the norm on these trips, the president of the GAA took an hour out of his day on the end-of-season All-Stars tour yesterday to survey the lay of the land for the association as one year draws to a close and another looms large.

The list of topics was long and varied with everything from technology to tickets being discussed and dissected during the informal chat in the lobby of the Crowne Plaza hotel, which is acting as HQ for the visit to south-east Asia.

Though it is hot and humid in KL, the cold realities of life 10,000 kilometres away in Ireland have not been forgotten and so it was only a matter of time before a question about the cost of attending games was broached.
