Tracey makes Cork GAA history

KILLEAGH’S Tracey Kennedy was last night elected first lady secretary of any GAA division in Cork when she took over the reins in East Cork, beating Oliver O’Loughlin, St. Ita’s, on a vote of 23-14.

Kennedy replaces outgoing secretary Willie Ring, who had completed his five year term in office.

Derek Kiely (Youghal) was elected PRO ahead of Glanmire’s Sean O’Sullivan, winning the vote 31-6.
