Counihan was speaking ahead of last night’s presentation of medals at the Rochestown Park Hotel, at which the guests of honour included GAA president Christy Cooney, Munster chairman Sean Walsh, Cork County Board chairman Jerry O’Sullivan and Bishop John Buckley.
