Tyrone’s Mellon and McCullagh retire

TYRONE duo Ryan Mellon and Colm McCullagh have both called time on their inter-county careers.

Mellon won three All-Ireland senior medals and lined out for Tyrone in both the 2005 and 2008 finals.

He was a member of the Tyrone panel in 2003.

McCullagh has decided to retire from county football because of family and work commitments. Harte will also be without the services of Ciaran Gourley for next season’s league campaign. Gourley is still recovering from injury and is expected to be out of football for a few more months.
