Legends past and present to attend Cork fundraiser

THE Cork senior footballers are holding a special Q&A session with current and past players in the Classic Bar, South Main Street tomorrow evening at 8.30pm.

The event is being hosted by RTÉ Sunday Game presenter Michael Lyster, who will be present with a panel of six past and present Cork footballers.

The current outfit will be represented by Michael Shields, Daniel Goulding and Noel O’Leary with members of the 1990 All-Ireland winning side Jimmy Kerrigan, Dave Barry and current team boss Conor Counihan also on hand to answer fans questions.

Admission is free on the door of the bar for the Q&A session but well-known GAA band Free Beer will play Club Classic at 10.30pm with proceeds from there going to the Cork footballer’s holiday fund and Marymount Hospice.
