Sceilge advance to quarter-finals

A 61ST minute pointed free from wing forward Darren O’Sullivan, after star man, Ciaran Keating was fouled, dislocating his shoulder in the process, was enough to see Coláiste Na Sceilge beat wasteful St Flannan’s, Ennis at Glin yesterday to qualify for the quarter-finals.

Conor Gorman’s goal for Flannan’s in the 32nd minute saw them lead 1-7 to 1-3, but goals from Denis Daly in the 33rd and 42nd minutes saw Sceilge back. They snatched that late win thanks to Keating’s battling.
