Cooper and Keane fire Farran to victory
They were made work hard for victory by a dogged Dripsey side who never threw in the towel with Eoghan Maher (3-1) in super form. In the first half, Farran looked well in control, going 1-1 to nil ahead before Maher’s first goal. Farran’s Dylan Foley saved a great Dean O’Sullivan effort and a Cooper goal helped the winners to a 2-1 to 1-0 half time lead. Marie O’Leary and Cooper quickly extended the Farran lead before goals from Maher and O’Sullivan left just a point between the sides. But Farran responded in style through goals from Conor Keane and Cooper to take the honours.
