Talisman Joyce facing honeymoon dilemma

KILLERERIN have not given up hope that former Footballer of the Year Padraic Joyce might still be available for Sunday’s Connacht club semi-final against newly crowned Mayo champions Ballintubber.

Joyce got married at the weekend and is abroad on his honeymoon but brother Tommie, who is Killererin’s player/manager, has not ruled out a return for Sunday’s showdown in Tuam Stadium.

The former All-Star has been the driving force behind Killererin’s march to a sixth Galway crown, when they dethroned Corofin.
