A MASSIVE second-half turnaround to this Evening Echo Cork SFC quarter-final at windy Bandon on Saturday saw Carbery Rangers turn a six points interval deficit into a 10-point victory with some swashbuckling football that simply blew Douglas away.

Given the strength of the wind, it was always going to be a game of two halves, but there was nothing in Douglas’s first-half play to suggest they were going to be rolled over so easily.

It’s a semi-final clash now for Rangers and, after earlier defeats by Ballincollig and opponents St Finbarr’s, selector John Murphy was looking forward to the Barr’s game and pleased his side had delivered the goods in such convincing fashion.
