Glen’s Callinan hoping to end ‘long wait’ for major honours

GLEN ROVERS’ experienced defender Graham Callinan admits it’s been a long wait in Blackpool for a county title.

“When people hear the name Glen Rovers, they expect them to be winning counties,” he says.

“We haven’t done it since 1989. You are expected to do big things in a club like this and now is our chance to make our own history. I don’t think it’s an added pressure playing with the Glen, you’re aware of it obviously.
