Coolderry in total control

THE Ken Hogan managed Coolderry demolished old rivals Kinnitty in a one-sided Offaly SHC semi-final at O’Connor Park yesterday.

Coolderry grabbed a Damien Murray goal straight from the throw-in and they continued the onslaught to quickly lead 1-5 to 0-1.

It was quickly increased to 1-9 to 0-2 and then a Cathal Parlon goal increased the gap and leave the half time score at 2-12 to 0-3.

Kinnitty, who lost full back Liam Bergin to a 46th minute red card, were never able to stage a comeback. Coolderry added to their tally with ease and got in some shooting practice ahead of their return to the final for the first time since 2006.
