Fresh doubts cast over Canty fitness
The Rebels talisman failed to take any part in a final inter-squad game at the weekend, casting fresh doubts over his ability to start Sunday’s decider.
The Bantry man has played only 35 minutes of football since injuring his hamstring in the All-Ireland quarter final against Roscommon. His training with Cork has also been severely restricted since the semi-final win over Dublin. Canty’s absence would pave the way for Douglas’ Eoin Cadogan to start his first All-Ireland final.
