We showed bit of bottle, says relieved boss Counihan

THE relief in the Cork camp was palpable after yesterday afternoon’s All-Ireland semi-final in Croke Park.

The match had developed into a mammoth struggle in the second half and it was only after a breathless finish that Cork just slipped past Dublin by a point.

Manager Conor Counihan was simply glad they had got over the line in first place and believed the team’s experience gained over the past few seasons was vital in securing the result.
