Antrim up against it, admits Donnelly
It’s hard to see how things could possibly appear any bleaker for Antrim ahead of this afternoon’s trip to Tullamore for their All-Ireland U21 semi-final. That is until you ask captain Cormac Donnelly how the northerners’ preparations have gone and he tells you they ‘haven’t really been together much’ as a panel.
“It’s been hard to get the players out for the U21s because we’re in the middle of the club championship at the minute,” revealed Donnelly. “You can’t blame the clubs for looking for players for the championship. But we haven’t really been together much.”
