Barrett abandons second club clash
The latest incident of serious on-field violence on the GAA fields of South Tipperary occurred in Fethard last Saturday, when Ballingarry faced Moyle Rovers in the divisional U-21 hurling semi-final.
It is understood that a Ballingarry supporter struck a Moyle Rovers player, who had just committed a foul, before a mass brawl broke out. Sources said that an ugly melee, which went on for an estimated five minutes, developed.
