Causeway cruise to victory

CAUSEWAY easily overcame their opponents in this disappointing Kerry SHC clash at Austin Stack Park on Sunday. The game ended as a contest after John Mike Dooley goaled in the eighth minute and half- back trio Mark Murphy, Eamon Fitzgerald and Shane Sheehan stamped their class on the tie.

Causeway raced 1-10 to 0-3 in front by half time with their full forward line, Stephen Goggin (0-4), John Mike Dooley (1-2) and Cyril Dineen (0-3) in devastating form.

Abbeydorney struggled to get the ball to their chief marksman Darragh O’Connell who only managed a pointed free in the opening half.
