GLEN ROVERS and Bride Rovers were last night reinstated to the Cork SHC in a massive climbdown by the Cork County Board.

The move comes just eight days after the board’s hearings committee had kicked both clubs out of the championship, following the mass brawl in their second round clash in Páirc Uí Chaoimh last month.

Both clubs made representations to the hearings committee this week, revealing that they were not set to appeal the decision to the Munster Council and implored them to reconsider their verdict.
