Setanta back in action with Carlton after lay-off

SETANTA O hAilpín has returned from injury to reclaim his position in the Carlton team to play Brisbane in what is a vital AFL game for both sides at the Etihad Stadium today.

O hAilpín missed the Blues’ round 13 loss to Fremantle with a calf strain although there had been suggestions that he might have been dropped anyway after his brilliant form from the outset of the season had begun to taper off.

With his team suffering their second successive defeat though, the 27-year-old is likely to have benefited from the enforced break and after returning to training on Monday has gotten the nod to reignite their drive for a coveted top four spot.
