Deadly Dublin deny Cats hat-trick chance

THERE will be new Leinster Under 21 hurling champions this season after Dublin’s sensational win over hat-trick seeking Kilkenny in last night’s semi-final at Nowlan Park.

The Dubs now have a home game in the final against Wexford on July 14.

Dublin took the game by the scruff of the neck from the off, and they never relaxed their grip. Kilkenny were under pressure from the outset and they could never find a way of coping with the Dubs’ all-action approach.
