O Sé hits out at Sunday Game

KERRY football legend Darragh O Sé last night launched a stout defence of Paul Galvin, as the controversial attacker looks set to be slapped with an eight-week ban over his clash with Cork’s Eoin Cadogan during Sunday’s Munster SFC semi-final against Cork.

O Sé also criticised The Sunday Game, particularly panellist Anthony Tohill, for their coverage of the incident at the weekend. O Sé believes the coverage given to the incident by RTÉ flagship GAA programme influenced the decision to sideline Galvin and that the Finuge player is suffering from the reputation he has developed from past misdemeanours.

“I watched The Sunday Game and I just felt that I wasn’t at the same game that they were watching,’’ he said.
