Why Tomás O Sé is a man for all seasons
Yesterday’s Killarney match programme confirmed what Kerry legs have been telling them for the past 12 months – they’ve been on the road a long, long time. Tomás O Sé may not trouble himself with such trifling statistics – he was too busy engineering a second-half comeback – but he eased into second place in the list of all-time Championship appearances yesterday in Killarney.
His start was the 71st time he’s represented his county on summer business, one more than former Dublin keeper John O’Leary and 10 less than his brother, Darragh.
