Browne’s blast for training camp critics

WATERFORD great Tony Browne has hit out at the GAA’s mindset towards foreign training camps.

Earlier this month Mayo’s senior footballers were forced to cancel a planned trip to Portugal after Croke Park bosses ruled it was outside the permitted window for such trips abroad.

But former Hurler of the Year Browne last night challenged the negative attitude from headquarters towards the growing trend for inter-county teams.
