Cooper and O’Connor hail returning Star

KERRY boss Jack O’Connor and ace poacher Colm Cooper hailed the return of Kieran Donaghy as the key factor in the Kingdom’s victory against Tipperary at Semple Stadium yesterday.

The forward was superb in his first Championship start for the Kingdom since last year’s qualifier against Longford and his leap five minutes from time which led to Bryan Sheehan’s second goal was described as ‘gazelle-like’ by Tipp manager John Evans.
