Gilligan and Griffin in flying form

FORMER Clare All Stars Niall Gilligan and Tony Griffin may have a change of heart about their decision to retire from inter-county hurling after producing sparkling performances over the weekend.

Gilligan and Griffin in flying form

2006 All Star Griffin continued his rich vein of form in Ballyea’s one-point win over Scariff on Saturday, hitting 1-7 having scored 2-5 in the club’s draw with O’Callaghan’s Mills the previous weekend.

And, Gilligan, who won his All Star in 1999 after winning Munster and All-Ireland honours in 1997 maintained his fine league form with seven points in Sixmilebridge’s comprehensive 0-15 to 0-8 win over Crusheen on Monday.
