Padden named in Mayo squad

BILLY JOE PADDEN has been named in Mayo’s football championship panel despite not featuring for John O’Mahony’s men throughout the National League campaign.

The Belmullet man linked up again with Mayo’s squad recently but did not feature in the comprehensive league final defeat against Cork and has not played for the county since being introduced as a substitute during the All-Ireland quarter-final defeat against Meath last August.
