Ó Sé and Galvin return as Kingdom seek to avoid trap door
Ó Sé makes his first appearance since September’s All-Ireland final at centre-back instead of Aidan O’Mahony, in one of four changes made by manager Jack O’Connor from the team that lost to Tyrone in Omagh two weeks ago.
Galvin returns, having completed the suspension he incurred when dismissed against Cork in mid-February, at right half-forward in place of the injured David Moran (fractured thumb). Daniel Bohane makes his first appearance of the year at right half-back with Marc Ó Sé moving back to the right corner and Padraig Reidy the player to lose out.
The final change sees last year’s captain Darran O’Sullivan replacing Kieran O’Leary at corner-forward.
Donegal manager John Joe Doherty has made three changes for tomorrow’s crucial NFL Division Two clash against Armagh in Letterkenny, in a match that willdecide who gains promotion along with Down to Division One next season. Eamonn Kelly replaces Brendan Boyle at midfield while Adrian Hanlon comes in for Stephen Griffin at left corner-forward. U21 star Leo McLoone starts at right half-forward, with Barry Dunnion switching to left half-forward, Frank McGlynn moving back to corner-back and Stephen Boyle dropping out of the side.
Armagh have made four changes. Barry Shannon replaces Martin Ferris and Ciaran McKeever is in instead of Paul Kernan in defence, while Charlie Vernon and Tony Kernan come into the attack for Malachy Mackin and Stefan Forker respectively.
Kildare manager Kieran McGeeney has handed Alan Smith his first game this season when they travel to Navan to take on Meath in their final NFL Division Two game.
The Sarsfields attacker comes in at right corner-forward with Eamonn Callaghan switching to full-forward in place of Ken Donnelly. Anthony Rainbow is restored to centre-forward from last month’s defeat to Laois, while Daryl Flynn returns to midfield to partner Moorefield club mate David Whyte. In defence Keith Cribben starts at wing back.
