KERRY full-back Tommy Griffin yesterday echoed the sentiments of his manager Jack O’Connor with the belief that Paul Galvin is being victimised because of his reputation.

Galvin was one of three players shown to the line during Kerry’s NFL Division 1 tie against Cork on Saturday night, and Griffin described all of the sending-offs as “innocuous”, calling for them to be reviewed.

“Any day Paul goes out now, there seems to be some bit of controversy afterwards. Through no fault of his own, most of the time. I think it (his reputation) is (damning him). In fairness the two Cork lads that were sent off were unlucky as well. I thought it was fairly innocuous. Everyone who was at the game and saw it afterwards, thought it was minor incidents.
