Daly: I’d leave if left in Justin’s position

CLARE legend and Dublin hurling manager Anthony Daly has admitted he’d probably walk away if he found himself in the boots of under-fire Limerick boss Justin McCarthy.

McCarthy is planning ahead for the 2010 season without 24 players who released a hard-hitting statement earlier this week confirming they won’t play for him.

The situation leaves McCarthy with virtually a new-look and inexperienced team entering the National Hurling League in a month’s time.
