Hurling centre of attention

HURLING’S future will be the focus of a national development forum to be held at Croke Park on Saturday.

Hurling centre of attention

The purpose of the forum is to consult with key hurling people in every county, to provide feedback on the challenges facing the development of the game and how they can be addressed.

The GAA promises it will not be a mere talking shop as the outcomes of the day’s debates will support the development of a National Hurling Development Strategy under the leadership of the National Coaching & Games Development Committee.

Beginning at 10am, there will a number of workshops held, including the new Hurling Games Programme, new ideas for development, and the promotion of hurling in urban and new areas.
