Fatigue no excuse for Ballyhale

ANYONE complaining of tiredness in the Ballyhale Shamrocks camp ahead of the Leinster Club SHC final against Tullamore in Tullamore on Sunday would be given short shrift by the management because of the example of Henry Shefflin.

It has been a long season for the Shamrocks crew, their fourth extended campaign in succession.

One might have thought that some sort of yearning for a break would be natural but if Shefflin doesn’t want one, despite leading Kilkenny to four All-Irelands in a row in the same period, nobody else is going to dare open his mouth.
