Evans set for new Tipp role

SENIOR team manager John Evans will be officially unveiled as Tipperary’s new Director of Football in the coming weeks.

And the Kerry native has admitted that an ambitious five-year plan which has been drafted by Tipperary football chiefs is dependent on survival in Division 2 of next year’s NFL.

Evans has been locked in talks with Tipp football board and county board officials and his plans for the future will be revealed next month.
