CORK senior hurling boss Denis Walsh is on the lookout for a new trainer with Jerry Wallace not set to be involved in the inter-county setup for next season.

Wallace, who trained Cork to two All-Ireland and three Munster titles, was informed by Walsh on Monday night his services were no longer required.

The Midleton man, involved since 2003 when brought in by Donal O’Grady, was a key figure in recent years and along with former trainer Seanie McGrath brought advanced training methods to the Cork camp.
