ITS two years since Tyrone’s senior footballers last shared a pitch with Cork. The one championship meeting between the counties was back in the dog-eared days of 1973 and yet they will be anything but perfect strangers on Sunday.

For six straight years between 2002 and 2007 the two counties met regular as clockwork in the top tier of the NFL so there won’t be any need for introductions when they take their places for the All-Ireland semi-final.
