Corbett: Premier’s young stars made the difference
The records show it took three games to separate Limerick and Tipperary in the Munster semi-final two years ago and it required extra-time in the second replay to produce a winner. And, it wasn’t Tipperary. They lost by three points that day at the Gaelic Grounds. Yesterday they had eight times that margin to spare.
Lar Corbett, one of the few remaining links with their All-Ireland winning team of 2001, made a significant contribution to that margin yesterday with his 3-1.
