NEMO Rangers five-in-a-row title dream ended when they crashed out of the Cork SFC at the quarter-final stage at the hands of West Cork divisional outfit Carbery in Bandon last night.

The decisive moment arrived in the 50th minute at a stage when Carbery lead 1-9 to 1-8. A high ball into the Nemo Rangers goalmouth was fatally dropped by netminder Brian Morgan and it rebounded off full-forward Hugh Curran before finding the net.
