Waterford give Casey shot at Galway

WATERFORD have made one change from the side that lost to Tipperary in the Munster final for Sunday’s All-Ireland SHC qualifier with Galway at Semple Stadium, Thurles.

Shane Casey from the Dunhill club has been called up at left corner forward with Jack Kennedy dropping out. Galway are not due to release their team until tomorrow but a definite non-starter is full back Shane Kavanagh, who broke a bone in his hand during the course of last weekend’s victory over Cork.

While Kerry boss Jack O’Connor received a timely boost with Tadgh Kennelly taking a full part in training on Tuesday night, Kieran Donaghy’s deputy at full-forward, Tommy Walsh went over on his ankle in training and is now a doubt for Sunday’s clash with Antrim.
