HE HAS one of the most famous initials in Gaelic games. When Martin Donnelly took on the pretty unglamorous ask of sponsoring the interprovincial hurling and football competitions he put his money where his mouth was.

As happens with so many GAA-oriented business, it was a fellow county man who put the deal in motion.
