Connors a Déise doubt

NOEL CONNORS has emerged an injury doubt for Waterford’s All-Ireland SHC quarter-final against Galway.

Connors limped out of training yesterday after taking a knock to his knee. He is to undergo a scan to discover the extent of the problem today. Davy Fitzgerald is already without the Ken McGrath and Gary Hurney while Ballyduff Lower’s Jack Kennedy sensationally quit the panel last week.

Meanwhile, the Waterford/ Clare Munster U21HC final has been provisionally fixed for Fraher Field, Dungarvan, on Wednesday week.
