Harty draw unkind to Kerry newcomers

FOR the first time in the history of the competition a Kerry team will take part in the Dr Harty Cup for season 2009/10.

In an effort to promote hurling in the county, a combined team of Kerry Colleges has been entered, but the draw for the groups hasn’t exactly been kind to the newcomers.

They have been paired with St Flannan’s, West Waterford Colleges and DLS Waterford in Group B and, with the top two to advance to the quarter-finals, it’s a massive ask of the Kerry team.
