Cooney: no way GPA can have percentage

GAA President Christy Cooney yesterday rejected GPA calls for a percentage of his association’s gross income.

However he expressed confidence that the organisations can return to negotiations to discuss official recognition for the players’ body and ‘move things forward by working together — and that’s what we want to do.’
