Walsh: Breffni boys ready to restore glory days

THEY are aiming high once again in Cavan.

Once the jewel in Ulster football’s crown, the county has subsisted on meagre rations for the last 40 years but today brings an Ulster semi-final against Antrim and within 70 minutes of the provincial final.

Whatever the outcome in Clones, Cavan GAA has already made history this season. Last Saturday, 1,986 people took part in an attempt to break the world record for the most participants taking part in a continuous 100m relay.
