AN academic analogy would be apt in drawing up Dublin’s report card yesterday.

Bottom line? Must do better. Much better.

Pat Gilroy admitted as much. The Dublin manager doesn’t give much away in his dealings with the media but he didn’t attempt to dress yesterday’s performance up into something it clearly wasn’t.
