Louth without Hoey for Carlow clash
Wee County manager Eamonn McEneaney confirmed the news last night and indicated that the experienced Hoey could be sidelined for up to a month. “It happened during a training game at the weekend. The injury hit Aaron out of the blue and it will be three or four weeks before he can start training again.”
McEneaney is also monitoring the fitness of versatile defender Padraig Rath (achilles tendon) and midfielder Paddy Keenan (hamstring). McEneaney recently called U21 players Gareth Moran and Sean McCann into his squad while DCU’s Conor Rafferty is another addition to the set-up.
