Can Tipp avoid the catastrophe?

WE need a good league final tomorrow, simply because I don’t think we’ve had one decent game in the competition so far, not that I saw anyway.

Can Tipp avoid the catastrophe?

Big wins, wide margins, very few competitive games, it was as poor a series as I can remember for a while. Maybe part of the reason is the fact that under the new structure only the top two teams are rewarded, a place in the final, with no quarter-finals or semi-finals – I don’t agree with that.

Look at the last round of games, not one team had anything to play for, everything already decided. Clare were relegated after the previous round, Kilkenny and Tipperary were through to the final, all done and dusted. In fairness to the supporters I think they’ve voted with their feet this year, I’d say attendances are well down on other years.
