And what about the P word

THIS storm will pass, believe it or not. The opinion poll published on these pages makes clear that it won’t be today, tomorrow, or the next day, but there will come a time when the fractious relationship between the Cork County Board and its players will not command as much attention as it currently does.

And what about the P word

In my opinion, there is a deeper question the GAA nationally must address. It’s not ‘sexy’ or obviously topical. It doesn’t leave blood on the floor. It doesn’t call for a head on a plate. Dull stuff in a soundbyte world.

In fact, anytime it’s raised, there will be plenty to say it’s not on the agenda at all, and should therefore remain unmentioned.
