Shefflin to make Cats return against Tipp

HENRY SHEFFLIN returns to the Kilkenny side for his first appearance of the year in tomorrow’s NHL showdown against Tipperary. Shefflin comes in at centre-forward in place of Willie O’Dwyer, while Ballyhale Shamrocks clubmates TJ Reid and Michael Fennelly are also drafted into the team.

Reid replaces the injured Eoin Larkin at left half-forward, Fennelly starts at midfield in a move that sees John Tennyson go to centre-back, Brian Hogan move to full-back and Seán Cummins drops to the bench.

Manager Brian Cody makes three further changes to his team, with Michael Kavanagh replacing John Dalton at corner-back, Martin Comerford coming into the attack in place of Michael Grace, and Richie Power named instead of Aidan Fogarty at corner-forward.
