Cork ring changes for Wexford clash

DESPITE a comprehensive nine points triumph over Laois last weekend, the Cork senior football selectors have made a number of changes for Sunday’s NFL Division 2 clash with Wexford at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Former minor Kevin Murphy from Boherbue takes over the goalkeeping spot from Alan Quirke, Kieran O’Connor, Aghada is recalled at right corner-back with Ray Carey moving to full back in place of Noel O’Donovan, while Ger Spillane takes over the right half back position from Noel O’Leary.

Alan O’Connor and Nicholas Murphy resume their midfield partnership with Michael Cussen named again at full forward. John Hayes moves to right half forward with Paul Kerrigan replacing Pierce O’Neill on the forty and Paul O’Flynn of Ballyclough switching to left half forward at the exclusion of Conor McCarthy.
