McCarthy vows to persevere with youth

LAST night’s critical meeting between the 2008 Cork hurling panel and Cork club representatives was postponed due to the death of Cork manager Gerald McCarthy’s mother on Saturday night.

The meeting will now take place next Sunday evening.

Meanwhile Cork manager Gerald McCarthy believes his side are improving despite their second consecutive loss in the National Hurling League.
