O'Shea's late, late penalty spoils O'Connor's farewell party

WITH time almost up in Sunday’s Kerry SFC final it seemed if Jack O’Connor’s tenure as Kerins O'Rahillys manager was to end in triumph.

The Strand Road side had just hit three brilliant points on the trot to take a two point lead and put one and a half hands on the Bishop Moynihan Trophy.

Each of those scores were worthy of winning any game — two splendid left-footed efforts from distance by captain Declan Quill and an incredible sideline effort from David Moran.
